Bird flu spreading in southeastern S. Korea, suspected case reported in Busan

   SEOUL, May 1 (Yonhap) -- A suspected bird flu case has been reported in Busan while two more outbreaks in the southeastern region of South Korea have been confirmed as virulent strains of the avian influenza, the government said Thursday.

The Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said quarantine experts have been dispatched to northern Busan, where sudden deaths of chickens have been reported.
