S. Korea's per-capita GNI expected to hit 4-year low

SEOUL, Nov. 16 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's per-capita gross national income (GNI) is expected to fall back to levels last seen four years ago amid sluggish economic growth and a weaker local currency, data showed Monday.

According to data from the Bank of Korea (BOK), the country's central bank, and the Korea Statistics office, average per-capita GNI for this year is estimated at US$17,100, down 11 percent from the $19,231 recorded last year.
