SEOUL, Feb. 10 (Yonhap) -- BMW Group Korea, the local importer and distributor of BMW AG, said Friday that it will deliver 110 vehicles to be used at a global summit for nuclear security and terrorism prevention slated for next month.
The company said that the delivery will include its flagship 7 Series model for leaders of 50 nations participating in the March 26-27 Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul. The Gran Turismo vehicles will also be offered for official use at the Seoul summit.
BMW has provided official vehicles to many international events that have taken place in South Korea, including the Group of 20 summit meeting held in the capital city in 2010.
The nuclear summit is aimed at bolstering international safeguards and preventing nuclear terrorism and was launched by U.S. President Barack Obama in 2010.
