SEJONG, Dec. 23 (Yonhap) -- Toyota Motor Korea Co., the local unit of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corp., will recall over 11,000 vehicles sold in South Korea for problems with the air-conditioning system that may cause the airbag and steering wheel to malfunction, the transportation ministry said Monday.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, water produced by the radiator in the air-conditioning system may flow into the vehicle's airbag system, causing both the airbag and the steering wheel to fail and possibly leading to an accident.
