SEOUL, April 13 (Yonhap) -- Netmarble Games Corp., South Korea's top mobile game developer and publisher, said Friday it has rolled out a new fishing game for mobile devices for the global market.

"Fishing Strike," developed by Wemade Plus, is available in the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store in 251 countries, excluding China, the company said.

Netmarble said the number of preregistrations for the game surpassed the 1 million mark in just two months after preorders for the mobile game became available on the official website.

The game offers a realistic mobile fishing experience as players travel the globe to catch some 500 different types of fish.

It also supports the latest developments in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies.
