SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Yonhap) -- Yoona of girl group Girls' Generation will release her second solo track this week, according to her agency Monday.

The singer will release "You Are My Star" on major streaming services on Friday, S.M. Entertainment said. The track, part of the company's weekly digital release project Station, will be put out as two different versions -- one in Korean and the other in Chinese.

S.M. Entertainment, which manages big-name K-pop acts such as Girls' Generation and EXO, launched Station in February 2016. Under the program, the company has unveiled a song every Friday in which its artists, often together with those from other labels, take on creative projects outside of their normal day jobs.

Yoona made her first solo outing last year, also per Station, with "Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway," which featured indie folk band 10cm.

The singer-actress is currently starring in MBC TV's period series "The King Loves." Celebrating its 10th year, Girls' Generation released its sixth full-length album "Holiday Night" last month.
