SEOUL, Feb. 16 (Yonhap) -- South Korean boy group BTS (Bangtan Boys), currently rising as the latest k-pop craze, released its latest album on Monday.

Unlike BTS' past music which sent out rebellious messages against a harsh reality, its latest album "Wings: You Never Walk Alone" provides hope and warm consolation to worn-out young adults.

A short video clip uploaded Wednesday on Yonhap News Agency's entertainment YouTube channel TongTong TV delves into the past and current music styles of Bangtan Boys and how the group's success was the driving force in evolving it.

Bangtan Boys made its debut in 2013 with the EP "2 Cool 4 Skool." As the first boy group launched by nascent agency Big Hit Entertainment, the idol act had gone through hardships of being unknown and unpopular, until later releasing a string of hits including the international hit album "Wings," which went as high as 26th place on the Billboard charts last October.
