Busan feels like 'home' for actor Jang Dong-gun 2017/10/14 09:41

BUSAN, Oct. 14 (Yonhap) -- Actor Jang Dong-gun of Korean crime thriller "V.I.P." attended an open-air interview event during the 22nd Busan International Film Festival on Oct. 13.

The Open Talk event hosted by the Korea Film Reporters Association was held at BIFF Village in Busan's Haeundae beach attended by a large crowd of film fans.

Directed by Park Hoon-jung, the movie starring Jang, Kim Myung-min, Lee Jong-suk and Park Hee-soon is about a South Korean police detective who stubbornly tracks down a high-profile North Korea defector as the prime suspect of a serial murder case in South Korea as South Korean and U.S. intelligence officials try to hinder the investigation for their own agendas.

The 22nd BIFF will screen 300 films from 75 countries around the world till Oct. 21.
