SEOUL, Nov. 8 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy band BTS is scheduled to appear in a popular American talk show later this month, its agency said Wednesday.

Big Hit Entertainment said the seven-member act will shoot "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on ABC while it is in the country to perform at the American Music Awards (AMAs) on Nov. 19.

The late-night talk show, which started in 2003, is one of the most popular shows in the U.S. In 2014, rapper and singer-songwriter Psy appeared on the show with American musician Snoop Dogg.

The boy group will sing its hit single "DNA" at the 45th edition of the AMAs at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and the event will be broadcast live by ABC.
