SEOUL, Nov. 13 (Yonhap) -- Wanna One, the hottest K-pop rookie of the year, returned Monday with a repackaged version of its debut album, produced in part to thank fans for making their dreams come true.

In the repackaged album "1-1=0 Nothing Without You," the group has unveiled four new tracks, including the lead song "Beautiful," on top of the three numbers "Energetic," "Burn It Up" and "Wanna Be" that were released in August.

In a press conference held in Yongsan, central Seoul, on Monday, the members expressed their deepest gratitude for the fans who, according to rapper Kang Daniel, "presented us Wanna One" by sending their overwhelming support and casting votes during the show.

"The album is the prequel of the debut album, which contains our stories before the debut," Hwang Min-hyun told reporters. "Being alone is incomplete. When we are one, we finally become full."

While the debut album showed the energetic and passionate sides of the group, the latest one conveys apprehension about an uncertain future as well as aspiration they had as trainees just months before and "hopes for beautiful days ahead," Hwang added.

Noting that the album comes out a day before the 100th day anniversary of their debut, the leader Yoon Ji-sung said, "We couldn't have been able to debut had it not been for fans' love. We wanted to remember how we were before Wanna One."

It's been merely three months since the group dropped its first album "1X1=1 To Be One" in August in one of the biggest debuts of any K-pop act. The album sold around 720,000 copies and the upcoming one has presold more than 500,000 copies, a remarkable number for a debut album in K-pop history.

The boy band, comprised of 11 final winners of popular survival reality show "Produce 101 Season 2" on music cable channel Mnet, has been cherry-picked by TV viewers in votes that amounted to more than 10 million in accumulation.

While its debut album sings about being one as Wanna One, the new one talks about how fuller and more complete the team has become now. To bring home the message, the lead number "Beautiful" tells about a feeling of fear, loneliness and longing coming from being alone.

At the news conference, the director's version of the song's music video was screened.

Featuring veteran actor Cha Seung-won as a father, the video delivers the tragic story of a family separated on its moving day. A young boy (played by Kang Daniel) gets lost while running to grab a football while his family moves in a hurry. The boy grows up in an orphanage until one day he is reunited with his older brother played by Ong Seong-wu.

During the event, the group also announced its plan to join Christmas Jumper Day, an annual fundraising campaign run by Save the Children to help children in need around the world. On any Friday in December, people are encouraged to wear their favorite sweaters with festive decorations and donate money for the cause.

Before the press conference started, the members appeared on stage dressed up for Christmas to publicize the campaign, which is launched in Korea for the fist time.

Lee Dae-hwi said the participation in the campaign is also part of their efforts to give back love they have received.

The album will be available at 6 p.m. Monday and their special show will be broadcast on Mnet at 7 p.m.
