SEOUL, Nov, 21 (Yonhap) -- The K-pop sensation BTS attributed its success to fans' support before its debut performance at the 45th American Music Awards (AMAs) on Nov. 19 (local time).
"It is like making a new history together with our fans. We've never dreamed about such a kind of thing, but thanks to our fans it just happened," RM, the leader and frontman of the seven-member act said during a media interview on the red carpet.
"We still cannot believe we are going to perform (at the) AMAs. It is amazing," the rapper and songwriter said.
The boy band sang its breakout single "DNA" on the stage and successfully made its debut performance on U.S. television.
