SEOUL, Jan. 10 (Yonhap) -- K-pop group BTS has been on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks with "Mic Drop."
"Mic Drop," featuring hip-hop artist Desiigner and remixed by Steve Aoki, came in at No. 66 on Billboard's main chart for the week of Jan. 13, up from No. 82 the previous week, according to Billboard's website Wednesday (U.S. time).
The song, originally released in September on the album "Love Yourself: Her," was rereleased as a remix on Nov. 24. It debuted on the Hot 100 at No. 28 in early December.
BTS' "Love Yourself: Her" album, meanwhile, jumped to No. 72 on the Billboard 200 from No. 106 a week ago, remaining on the album chart for its 13th consecutive week.
The group, which made Billboard's list of the top 10 musicians in the United States in 2017, is scheduled to hold a fan meet-and-greet at Gocheok Sky Dome in western Seoul on Saturday and Sunday.
