SEOUL, Feb. 28 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group WJSN has returned with its first record in eight months, fronted by an energetic dance number that sings of the power of love.
The 13-member South Korean-Chinese group held a media showcase for its new EP album, "Dream Your Dream," at Yes 24 Live Hall in eastern Seoul on Feb. 27.
The band, also known as Cosmic Girls in Korea, released its first full-length album, "Happy Moment," in June last year. It had previously released three EPs.
Formed jointly by Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment, the group includes three Chinese members -- Xuan Yi, Cheng Xiao and Mei Qi.
The lead song was written and arranged by the production team Full8loom. Longtime WJSN collaborator e.one, who has worked on music for TWICE and GFriend as well as with the production group Avenjeonseung, also assisted with the new album, which comprises five tracks and a Chinese version of "Dreams Come True."
"On this album, we explored the theme of the power of love ... The album overall bubbles with the emotions of hopes and dreams," the member Eunseo told reporters.
