'Intimate Strangers' surpasses 2 mln admissions

SEOUL, Nov. 7 (Yonhap) -- The local comedy-drama film "Intimate Strangers" has surpassed 2 million in admissions at theaters around the country.
The movie starring Yoo Hae-jin, Cho Jin-woong and Lee Seo-jin added 179,130 views to its seven-day cumulative of 2.02 million on Tuesday, according to data from the Korean Film Council. It became the fastest comedy movie to hit the milestone this year.
The Lotte Entertainment release centers on a circle of friends who decide to lay bare all their secrets at a dinner via a game of sharing all incoming messages. It is a Korean remake of the smash hit Italian movie "Perfect Strangers."
