SEOUL, Aug. 24 (Yonhap) -- The iPhone 4, the latest version of Apple Inc.'s popular smartphone, drew more than 200,000 preorders in South Korea in about one week, its local distributor KT Corp. said Tuesday.
KT, South Korea's biggest telecom company and No. 2 mobile carrier, said the milestone was reached at 8 a.m. Tuesday, the company said in an e-mailed statement.File photo
The company began receiving online and offline reservations for the upcoming smartphone last Wednesday, garnering 130,000 preorders in the first day. A preorder, however, is subject to cancellation if a customer chooses to opt out.
