By Yoo Cheong-mo SEOUL, March 15 (Yonhap) -- President Lee Myung-bak said Saturday that his government won't tolerate corruption in the civil service and plans to toughen punishment for such corruption as part of his drive to turn South Korea into a first-rate advanced nation.
Lee also stressed that civil servants will now have to change their attitudes towards corruption, as well as towards work efficiency, in a sector known for its job security.
