Hanjin Heavy reaches settlement with metal union
BUSAN, Feb. 22 (Yonhap) -- Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction said Friday that it has reached an agreement with an industry-wide umbrella labor union, ending a month-long protest sparked by the death of one of its unionists.

In December, Choi Gang-seo, a union member of the Korean Metal Workers' Union, committed suicide after getting a notice from the shipbuilder that his job was suspended due to the firm's financial trouble.
