SEOUL, July 22 (Yonhap) -- Police sought an arrest warrant Tuesday for a middle-aged South Korean man accused of kidnapping a Canadian teenager and threatening to kill her unless she would date him.
The 41-year-old man, only identified by his surname Kim, abducted the girl Friday night, Kim Seong-kwan, an officer in the southeastern port city of Busan, said. The suspect took away her cell phone and made death threats with a knife until the 17-year-old agreed to date him, Kim said.
