94 pct of employees abandon neck ties to save energy: survey
SEOUL, Aug. 17 (Yonhap) -- Employees at over 94 percent of South Korean companies polled said they skipped wearing ties this summer to adapt to higher office temperatures and help in energy conservation, a survey showed Sunday.
The survey of 203 companies by the Federation of Korean Industries, the nation's largest business lobby group, found 94.1 percent of the respondents encouraged their office workers to show up with a "no-tie" look.
