Samsung Electronics to produce 27-nanometer NAND flash in Q2

SEOUL, Feb. 9 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co., the world's largest memory chipmaker, said Tuesday that it will start mass producing a 27-nanometer based NAND flash memory chip in the second quarter of this year.
"Samsung completed developing 27-nanometer process NAND flash in October and we plan to mass produce them from the second quarter," a Samsung official said by phone.
