(LEAD) Health watchdog warns of harmful ingredients in U.S. dietary supplements
SEOUL, March 15 (Yonhap) -- South Korean health authorities called for the public Monday to stop buying or taking 10 U.S. bodybuilding and weight loss pills, saying the products contain harmful ingredients that may cause health problems.
The Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) said it has detected banned ingredients that eliminate appetite in three fat loss supplements, which are Slimone, Slim Buster, and Slim Metabo.
