Jimmy Carter due in Seoul next week
SEOUL, March 16 (Yonhap) -- Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter will visit South Korea next week to receive a honorary doctorate from a local university, foreign ministry officials said Tuesday.
Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, will arrive in Seoul on Sunday for a four-day trip, during which the former U.S. president will receive an honorary doctorate degree in political science from Seoul's Korea University. He is also scheduled to meet with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak.
