No pork exports reported in Feb due to disease outbreaks: customs data

SEOUL, March 16 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's pork exports fell to nil in February due to frozen demand in the wake of the recent outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) at domestic livestock farms, the customs office said Tuesday.

According to data provided by the Korea Customs Service, South Korea could not export any pork meat including fresh and frozen products last month, compared with 69 tons it sold overseas the previous month.
