SEOUL, May 18 (Yonhap) -- A group of South Korean officials and business leaders will visit the U.S. this week to attend an annual meeting with their U.S. counterparts and urge Washington's early ratification of a bilateral free trade agreement (FTA), a local business body said Tuesday.

The group of 26 officials and business representatives, including Trade Minister Kim Jong-hoon, will attend the 23rd Korea-U.S. Business Council to be held in Washington for two days from Wednesday (Washington time), the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) said in a press release.
