SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Yonhap) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has developed a mole the size of a lump of coal over his right cheekbone according to the latest footage of the 68-year-old man, amid clear signs he is hastening a power succession to his third son after suffering a stroke in 2008.
The footage released Thursday by the official Korean Central Television showed Kim turning his face to speak to his aide next to him during a Workers' Party convention in Pyongyang earlier this week.
