SEOUL, March 11 (Yonhap) -- The mother of a leading activist against North Korea has been found slain, South Korean police said Friday, initially downplaying the possibility of a link to the communist state that has threatened retaliation if anti-Pyongyang propaganda continues.
The death has forced activists to suspend their weekend rally during which they planned to send tens of thousands of leaflets denouncing the isolated North across the heavily armed border.
