ANKARA, Feb. 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korean President Lee Myung-bak is to meet Turkish President Abdullah Gul on Monday for summit talks aimed at upgrading the traditional friendship and expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting comes a day after Lee and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed to conclude negotiations on a free trade pact in the first half of the year and to resume stalled talks on an atomic power plant construction project in the Eurasian nation.
