ANKARA, Feb. 6 (Yonhap) -- Leaders of South Korea and Turkey pledged Monday to bolster all-round cooperation between the two countries, elevating their relations to a "strategic partnership" that builds on the traditional friendship forged during the 1950-53 Korean War.
The two sides also agreed to pursue joint construction projects in the emerging markets of developing nations in the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe, a strategy that combines South Korean technologies and Turkey's regional networks.
