Samsung produces 1st 14 nm FinFET test chip
SEOUL, Dec. 21 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co., the world's No. 2 chipmaker, said Friday it has successfully produced its first 14 nanometer test chip based on the FinFET process.
The company succeeded in rolling out the test chip with four partners, including British chipmaker ARM, Cadence, Mentor and Synopsis, Samsung said in a press release.
