WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 (Yonhap) -- The U.S. House of Representatives on Friday passed a resolution condemning North Korea for its latest nuclear test, a largely symbolic move to remind Americans and others of its concern about Pyongyang's continued provocations.
The resolution, passed by a vote of 412-2, calls on the U.S. government to apply "all available sanctions on North Korea and cooperate with U.S. allies to impose additional sanctions, including U.N. sanctions."
It also urges China to act to prevent the transshipment of goods that North Korea may use in its nuclear and missile programs.
