N. Korea's propaganda leaflets found in S. Korea again
PAJU, South Korea, Jan. 14 (Yonhap) -- North Korean propaganda leaflets have been spotted for a second consecutive day on Thursday in South Korean border towns and other adjacent areas, police said.
Police retrieved the leaflets in Paju and Ilsan, Gyeonggi ㅖrovince, located just northwest of Seoul.
South Korea believes North Korea floated the leaflets in an apparent response to Seoul's recent resumption of anti-Pyongyang broadcasts along the heavily fortified border.
On Wednesday, President Park Geun-hye vowed to strengthen psychological warfare against North Korea, calling it "the surest and most effective" means.
South Korea resumed anti-Pyongyang broadcasts as part of its punishment against North Korea over its nuclear test earlier this month.
