SEOUL, Aug. 10 (Yonhap) -- Honda Motor and Jaguar will recall over 7,700 vehicles in South Korea for faulty parts, the transport ministry said Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Honda Korea, the local importer of Honda vehicles, will recall 7,354 Honda Accord sedans sold here for problems in battery sensors, which were found to be vulnerable to catching fire due to short circuiting.

Jaguar Land Rover Korea., the local importer and distributor of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, is also recalling 326 Jaguar XJ cars sold here for defective air bags.

Vehicle owners can visit designated repair and service centers to replace the parts free of charge, it said.
