SEOUL (Yonhap) -- The following is a chronological review of major developments related to North Korea from May 31 to June 6, 2007.
31 An event marking World No-Tobacco Day takes place at the People's Palace of Culture in Pyongyang.
31 Janchivdorjyn Lomvo, Mongolian ambassador to the DPRK (North Korea) and officials of his embassy help farmers with rice-transplanting work at the DPRK-Mongolia Friendship Jongbang Co-op Farm in Pyongyang.
31 Wreaths are laid before the grave of Ri Po-ik, a great-grandmother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, in Mangyongdae, Pyongyang, on the occasion of the 131st anniversary of her birth.

4 The KCNA says the DPRK government will make continued efforts to expand and develop South-South cooperation with developing countries under the banner of collective self-reliance, quoting the DPRK delegate who made a speech at the 15th Session of the U.N. High-level Committee on South-South Cooperation on May 30.
