SEOUL (Yonhap) -- The following is a chronological review of major developments related to North Korea from July 3 - 9, 2008.
3 The (North) Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) says a doctorate in economics of the DPRK (North Korea) was awarded to Kim Il, a Korean Chinese teacher at Yanbian University of China.
