N. Korea's nuclear envoy in Beijing with senior Chinese official

BEIJING, Feb. 9 (Yonhap) -- North Korea's nuclear envoy arrived in China on Tuesday with a senior Chinese official who met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il a day earlier.

Kim Kye-gwan was seen arriving at an airport in Beijing along with Wang Jiarui, a top Chinese Communist Party official who just ended a high-profile four-day visit to Pyongyang amid an international standoff over North Korea's nuclear arms programs.

Kim represents North Korea in the stalled six-nation aid-for-denuclearization talks that also involve the U.S., Japan, South Korea, Russia and host China.
