SEOUL, Feb. 23 (Yonhap) -- South Korean Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan embarked on a trip Tuesday to Mexico and the United States where he will discuss the upcoming G-20 economic summit to be held in Seoul this year and ways to resume six-nation talks on ending North Korea's nuclear ambitions.

Yu's trip to Washington, following his trip to Mexico, comes as he and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are set to hold a regular forum, known as the Strategic Talks.
