Senior U.S. official handling N. Korea sanctions visits S. Korea
SEOUL, March 12 (Yonhap) -- A senior U.S. official in charge of financial sanctions on North Korea has been in South Korea this week for talks on the communist nation and financial issues between Seoul and Washington, a diplomatic source said Friday.
Daniel Glaser, deputy assistant secretary of the treasury for terrorist financing and financial crimes, arrived in Seoul on Wednesday and has met with officials of the foreign and finance ministries, the source said on condition of anonymity.
