Dialogue needed to resolve N. Korean nuclear standoff: former IAEA chief
SEOUL, March 12 (Yonhap) -- Constructive dialogue and engagement are needed to resolve North Korea's nuclear ambitions, the former secretary general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Friday.
In a press conference held at the Summit of Honor on Atoms for Peace and Environment (SHAPE) in Seoul, Mohamed ElBaradei said that while pressure can resolve an impasse, a solution to ending Pyongyang's nuclear program will come from holding talks.
