N. Korea to hold parliamentary meeting early next month


SEOUL, May 18 (Yonhap) -- North Korea will convene its parliament early next month, its state news agency said Tuesday, amid growing tensions with South Korea.

"The meeting of the Supreme People's Assembly will be held on June 7 in Pyongyang," the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in a brief dispatch, monitored in Seoul.
