SEOUL, May 10 (Yonhap) -- The government survey of corporate losses by South Korean firms following North Korea's suspension of the joint industrial park in the North is being delayed due to difficulties involving loss assessment, a government official said Friday.

The Kaesong Industrial Complex, where South Korean firms started to produce light industry goods in 2004 using cheap North Korean labor, ground to a halt in early April as the North regime pulled out its workers amid escalating inter-Korean tensions. In response, Seoul also withdrew the South Korean workers from the park.
