SEOUL, July 29 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's ruling and opposition parties expressed hope Monday that Seoul's latest proposal for talks with North Korea will lead to the reopening of a suspended joint industrial complex in the North.

The complex ground to a halt in April when Pyongyang withdrew all its 53,000 workers from the Kaesong Industrial Complex amid heightened tensions between the two Koreas.
