N. Korea's Kim Yong-nam heads to Iran for Rowhani's inauguration

BEIJING, Aug. 2 (Yonhap) -- North Korea's head of parliament, Kim Yong-nam, appeared to have left Beijing on Friday on his way to Iran to attend the inauguration of President-elect Hassan Rowhani, a diplomatic source said.

A delegation led by Kim made a brief stopover in Beijing on Thursday and spent a night at the North Korean Embassy here, the source said on the condition of anonymity.
