LG Display mulls building new production line: CEO
SEOUL, March 12 (Yonhap) -- LG Display Co., the world's second-largest maker of liquid-crystal display (LCD) panels, will soon decide on upping its capital expenditure to construct a new production line, the company's chief said Friday.
LG Display CEO Kwon Young-soo also said he expects two out of six companies that have applied to build LCD plants in China will get the go-ahead from Beijing to build a new LCD plant in the world's largest market.
