SEOUL, Feb. 10 (Yonhap) -- KT Corp., South Korea's top fixed-line operator, said Friday that it has limited high-speed network access of Internet-enabled TVs produced by Samsung Electronics Co., potentially hurting the tech firm's push to increase sales of smart sets.
The move came one day after KT warned it will restrict access of Internet-connected TV applications to its network, claiming they "free-ride" on its network. Such free-riding can cause heavy cyber traffic, slowing other users' access to the Internet.
